The Kitchen

Our bar serves a selection of cask ales which are changed regularly to give you a chance to sample some of the excellent real ales now available.

Children are allowed until 9.00pm but are not allowed at the bar.

Last orders for children's meals (non residents) is 8pm.

Dogs are not allowed in the Bar.

We offer a wide range of good old fashioned 'value for money'  meals including the largest choice of vegetarian meals in the area.

All our meals are prepared to order so please be patient at busy times. We are not a restaurant that sells beer, we are a 17th century country Inn that provides quality food and ales at a reasonable price.

Special Offers

We offer accommodation all year round in either double or twin bedded rooms with shared facilities, which all offer splendid views overlooking the river Dee and Settle Carlisle line.
Tariff for 2008  from £30.00 per person, B&B.

Single occupancy subject to availability and surcharge.

 Stay for four nights and only pay for three, available all year round. 

Winter Break - two people for 2 nights bed & breakfast, available Oct / March
